If you saveloc whilst being in a sharp turn, it is hard to go to that loc and go instantly into the turn A angle/s you savelocced (maybe that is poor mathematical notation, w/e). In fact, you have to pre-turn to hit the A angle/s. My suggestion is that that Momentum can assist this pre-turn. Momentum will turn your view A angle/s but to the opposite direction, e.g., if you turned right, then left. Then you yourself turn right with A angle/s and try to counteract this automatic spin (some tool will help to show you how well you do it). Press your go to loc key when you feel ready.
You might saveloc a position where you are exactly going to starting a turn. Let the bare movement of the mouse trigger a go to loc
You might saveloc whilst being in a sharp turn and whilst accelerating your A angle/s significantly (or whilst that is desirable). Momentum will spin your view A angle/s to the opposite direction. Then you yourself turn the normal direction. As your angle/s>A angle/s, you will trigger a go to loc. You might have too slow acceleration or too much as your angle/s goes above A angle/s. Momentum will not help in that regard. Maybe it could. I don't know.
I don't know exactly about this. But maybe Momentum can rewind you, thereafter automatically run your character until that position you savelocced is reached and slip you free. Maybe that can help you prepare. That ofc. presupposes there is info about that run that led to your saveloc. That in combination with slow-motion could also be a thing perhaps.
Besides, I also thought about letting you yourself rewind that run that led to your saveloc and create a new saveloc on the same run.
These were ideas that related to my endeavor to craft a solution for pre-speed wrcp's on staged linear maps.
e: 2. is actually just a special case of 3., so 3. covers 2.
e2: Maybe a 3. ish solution is also enough for 1. When you "go to loc" with that function enabled, you should rather be frozen in the savelocced position in a "frame" and then let the mouse movement (as described) set you free/run the loc.
e3: I also suggest that all the fail teleports teleport you to the loc.
